SCHOOL CLOSINGS + DELAYS
In the event of bad weather or other emergencies, we might need to close the school or change the school schedule and transportation routes. This decision is made after an early inspection of road conditions and school facilities, as well as current or forecasted weather conditions.
When Damar Charter Academy is cancelled, delayed or releasing students earlier than normal, and/or transportation routes are changed, information is sent immediately to the following central Indiana radio and television stations:
- WRTV Channel 6 — Indianapolis
- WTHR Channel 13 — Indianapolis
- WISH Channel 8 — Indianapolis
- WXIN FOX 59 — Indianapolis
